Legend, Key Metrics and HUDs
The information on top of the chart – the legend at the top left, Key Metrics of a backtest at the top right, the HUD stack at the bottom left and the crosshair labels.
Legend (top left)
The legend in the top-left corner of the chart has three parts:
- Market: symbol, exchange, category and timeframe.
- Candle: O, H, L, C, the change of the candle from open to close in %, V (volume in the base coin) and QV (volume in the quote coin). It shows the candle under the crosshair, otherwise the latest candle. Prices use the tick size of the market.
- Indicators: one row per indicator on the price chart with its colour, name, period and current value or named values. Indicators in their own pane below the chart show their row at the top of that pane.
On mobile the legend wraps before the price scale; tap a candle to see its values.
Crosshair labels
When you move the mouse over the chart (or tap on mobile), the crosshair snaps to the candle under the cursor and shows two labels:
- Time, at the bottom: weekday and date, for example "Sa 24-10-2026", and the candle time with seconds and time zone, for example "14:05:00 UTC+2".
- Price, on the right edge: the price at the cursor, rounded to the tick size of the market.
All times are in your display time zone.
Key Metrics (top right)
The top-right corner shows the active strategy: its name, what it trades with (Trade Setup or a script) and how many markets are on its watchlist.
After a strategy has run on the chart – with Backtest (F5) or by opening a result from Run strategy – the Key metrics box appears below it:
- Final capital, the start capital and the change in %, and the leverage of the entries in the header.
- Win rate, as a number and a bar.
- Trades, Capital factor, Max drawdown, Taker fee, Trade days and Time in position (as minutes, hours or days and hours, e.g.
6:00h).
The Key metrics are shown only while the chart has trades from the run. The metrics are explained under Metrics.
HUD stack (bottom left)
HUDs are boxes fixed to the screen that stay in place while you pan and zoom. The chart stacks them in the bottom-left corner of the price area, above the time label of the crosshair:
- At the bottom: the seconds chart (desktop only).
- Above it: boxes from indicators, in the order of the indicators on the chart. Examples are the levels box of REH / REL ("Show levels box" in its settings), which lists the levels with their distance in ATR, and lines a WickScript indicator writes with
hud.
All boxes are at most as wide as the seconds chart; longer text wraps onto the next line. When the stack would run into the legend at the top, the boxes that no longer fit are left out. A box is drawn with the opacity of its indicator, and only the crosshair is drawn on top of the stack.
