# Price → Time Scale (PTS)

> Adds a second scale inside the right edge of the chart that reads each price level as a number of minutes.

## What you see
A column of labels just inside the right edge of the price chart, set off by a faint vertical line. Each label sits on a round price level and shows that price read as minutes, written as hours, minutes and seconds:

| Price | Label |
|---|---|
| 0.5 | 00:00:30 |
| 90 | 01:30:00 |
| 1500 | D2 01:00:00 |

Fractions of a minute become seconds. From 1440 (one full day) on, a day prefix is added: D2 is the second day, D3 the third, and so on.

## Using it
The scale lets you read a price level, or the distance between two levels, as a duration. A move from 2400 (D2 16:00:00) to 2460 (D2 17:00:00), for example, equals 60 minutes – which you can compare with the time axis.

The labels follow the zoom of the price axis. **Tick count** sets roughly how many appear; the scale picks round price steps close to that number.

## Settings

Open the settings with the slider icon next to the indicator (Indicators, `F3`). Numeric settings can be swept as Step 1 / Step 2 parameters when you run a strategy.

| Setting | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Color | Color | `#a78bfa` | Colour of the labels and the separator line. |
| Opacity | Slider | `0.9` | Transparency of the scale. |
| Tick count | Number | `25` | Approximate number of labels. |

## Outputs

This indicator draws on the chart only – it has no values for Trade Setup gates or `use indicator`.
